The steemcourt's Verdict: Avoid Plagiarism!!!

in #steemcourt6 years ago

Greetings ladies and gentle men of the steemit blockchain, parishioners and apostles of the @steemchurch and to the founder @sirknight. From series of reports, it has come to the attention of the court on matters concerning plagiarised articles and comments on the steemchurch community.

what is plagiarism:
plagiarism is simply considered as the act of claiming the works/ideas of another which typically is considered as an act of fraud.

steemchurch community isn't a place where anyone can just come and get reward, the reward should be proportional to him/her works rather than stealing someone else's work/idea which is considered as plagiarism. SnS are having a hard time working out who made the original comment and therefore not upvoting comments as often now. As such everyone is suffering.

Most persons who carry out this fraudulent act happens to go free from cheetah-bot and at such see no reason why he/she should stop because after all they "ll get away from it. The steemchurch community is growing bigger and faster than anyone can imagine and as it grows into reality, legal issues will increasingly be a paramount issue, knowing fully well that the act of plagiarism isn't seen as a crime to just steemchurch community rather to the steemit community as a whole. On this day, the court aim here is twofold:

1- To help parishioners stop the habit of plagiarism of articles and comments which if not treated, can result to one having issue not just with the steemchurch community rather the steemit community as a whole.

2- To create a platform of originality of articles, ideas and comments on the steemchurch community.

You don't want to become guilty of plagiarism by letting someone else's words get inadvertently mixed in with your own. If you do feel the need to paste in a block of research while you're writing, be sure to highlight the copied text in a different color so you can go back and remove or rewrite it entirely later.

If as a parishioner, you come across write-ups that fascinate or seems to help others in understanding you topic, the best thing to do is to blockquote just the paragraph using the block quoting codes rather than plagiarising.

The Court Decision:

The court is taking appropriate measures to see that this act comes to an end because steemchurch is growing bigger and faster, thanks to Apostle @tikhub for helping the court to create a channel [report room ] on steemchurch discord https://discord.gg/WMcM4 So that if any parishioner discover any such act, such parishioner should report to the report room and the court will carry out the law by first investigating on it.

The court has created a blacklist and any parishioners found of any form of crime against the steemcourt, will face the court law and such parishioner will be denied from resteeming and upvote until the court decides to remit the convict.

Let's make steemchurch community a place of originality by obeying the court @steemcourt THANK YOU.

It's great to see this project kickoff. These plagiarists have made it a hard time going through the steemchurch tag, we all can make the steemchurch tag better by reporting these ones.

I think we could also have an appeal process, for plagiarists who are willing to change their ways.

Steemcourt just made my night.
Great Job, Judge.

This seems great to me, although we are children of God and this should not exist in us, remember that God has made us with special characteristics to all, we just have to do things right .... Whoever is taking this behavior is still time to improve!

Thank you very much for placing letters on the subject @steemcourt

this is great, there are many plagiarism happening lately, full post and comments ... well that the court put letters in the matter

As Christian men and women, we must abide by the law, rather than the laws and norms created by man in society we must abide by the divine laws that come from the highest.

Everything is allowed ", but not everything is profitable. Everything is allowed, but not everything is constructive. 1 Corinthians 10:23

I think another suggestion will be enforcing the use of copyright free Images. Some people don't know how to get these images and for those needing tutorial or help on this you can contact me via discord @ Langford#4768

Nice, this will sound as a warning to those that copy other peoples content without even stating it.

I so much love this. Plagiarism is bad and should not be allowed in this great community.
Thumb up 👍 to @steemcourt for this.

What an outstanding turnout of events...... This is progress indeed. I want to know, are these twofold aim of the court the only aim or would there be more as time goes by??

1- To help parishioners stop the habit of plagiarism of articles and comments which if not treated, can result to one having issue not just with the steemchurch community rather the steemit community as a whole.

2- To create a platform of originality of articles, ideas and comments on the steemchurch community.

I hope i got it right. Not my words but written in another color😉😉😉

These twofold are made for plagiarism.
