With our eyes on you
To grow spiritually, we must fix our eyes on Christ, who has given faith and who increases our faith. When we take our eyes off Him, we begin to limp. If we look at others, or if we look at ourselves, we stumble.
It's funny how we grow by grace. It almost happens without us giving ourselves It counts because we stop thinking so much about ourselves and we think more about Christ.
He who struggles so much to grow, and is very aware of his own spiritual state, he has his sights set on himself, and does not grow. The result is just the opposite of what you want.
But the one who forgets himself and just tries to get closer to the Lord to know him more and love him more, he begins to resemble Christ, in a natural. It is like a son who begins to look like his father, without trying. It just instinctively follows the parental pattern. It should be like this with Children of God
