The Conviction of Faith
Good evening, the Lord bless you, the Lord bless you more. In this post I want to talk about the conviction of faith.
The conviction: alludes to feeling ownership of a truth, is the CERTAINTY STRONG and CERTAIN in something or someone.
The Faith: is the certainty of what is expected the conviction I know what is not seen
Hebrews 11:
Faith
11 It is, then, faith the certainty of what is expected, the conviction of what is not seen.
2 For the elders obtained a good testimony by it.
3 By faith we understand that the universe was constituted by the word of God, so that what is seen was made of what was not seen.
4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained testimony that he was righteous, God testifying of his offerings; and dead, he still speaks for her.
5 By faith Enoch was transposed to see no death, and was not found, because God transposed him; and before he was transposed, he had testimony of having pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please God; for it is necessary that he who comes to God believes that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
7 By faith Noah, when he was warned by God about things that were not yet seen, with fear prepared the ark in which his house was saved; and by that faith he condemned the world, and was made heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, being called, obeyed to go out to the place he was to receive as an inheritance; and he left without knowing where he was going.
9 By faith he dwelt as a foreigner in the promised land as in a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, co-heirs of the same promise;
10 because I expected the city that has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
11 By faith also Sarah herself, being barren, received strength to conceive; and she gave birth even outside of the age, because she believed that it was faithful who had promised
Many times we are tested by Dio to see how much faith we have as we believe, and that is where we must be strong and firm, how do we know that we have faith? Easy for example when we have the fridge full of food we do not worry but when we have the fridge without food there is where the test comes and we ask God and we do not distress we just wait on God and we believe him his promises that everything will come in addition we must be convinced to believe God and his promises wait in the without complaining, as well as Job who was a straight man God fearing and turned from evil, a man who came to have all children, sheep, yokes, oxen, Asnas raised the greatest male of all the orientals, satan told the Lord to extend his hand to see if Job did not blaspheme against him and replied Jehovah behold all that he has in your hands just do not put your hand about him. In one day satan removed from Job all that he had killed his children, his servants took away all his riches, then Job pulled his cloak and prostrated himself on the earth and I adore saying naked I left my mother's womb and naked I will return To her, with all this, Job did not sin, Satan, seeing that Job did not blaspheme against God, wounded him with an evil scab on his whole body. After Job suffered so many calamities, Jehovah restored the prosperity of Job, increasing twice the things that were taken from him sheep, yokes, oxen, donkeys and 7 sons and three daughters after all this Job lived one hundred forty years and died old and full days.
So we must endure all the trials and keep the FAITH firm and with the conviction that it will make us strong.
