WHAT DO YOU SEE?

Amazing, according the calendar, Sunday which is 17th July, 2018,it to celebrate our fathers, to appreciate them of their hard work and their responsibilities in the family and our society. Most of us are not aware of this celebration, so am taking this opportunity to remind us all to let our fathers also know that they are considered and we love then as well.

Genesis 15:1-6

After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.

2 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?

3 And Abram said, “You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir.

4 Then the word of the Lord came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son who is your own flesh and blood will be your heir.

5 He took him outside and said, Look up at the sky and count the stars if indeed you can count them.
Then he said to him, So shall your offspring be.

This passage describes an interesting event that also teaches a profound principle. When Abraham complained about growing old and having no child, God simply took him outside to look into the skies. God was not about to teach Abraham a lesson in astronomy. God wanted Abraham to try to number the stars. God’s response brings in the principle in the passage as you see, so shall your blessings be

In other words God said to Abraham, Are you thinking about one child? I am going to give you more than one child. Can you handle the stars? You can see how little we are in our thinking. God wants to bless you big; meanwhile you are open to something little. To Abraham God was literally saying, You can have as many stars as you can count.

The question here is What can you see? How far can you see?” It becomes clear that your vision determines your provision. If you are able to remove the limits you have unconsciously placed on your vision, you can achieve a lot in this life.

Prayer

1. Thank God for His unlimited sources and immense plan for your life.

1. Pray every day that you do not think little, dream little or never dream at all. Do not belong to any of those categories.

2. Father, please sharpen my vision so I will not limit myself in this life

Declarations

I declare in the name of Jesus, that I see with the eyes of faith and walk with a heart of faith. By faith I determine the boundaries of my inheritance. I declare that the Lord is my portion; He will maintain my lot. I refuse to think little or dream small dreams. God has enough resources for my vision. I shall no longer be short-sighted. I declare that the borders are extended and will I have a goodly heritage in the name of Jesus.

"We are living in dispensation where every father is branded as being evil, not caring & unloving...as result of this we don't celebrate & appreciate our Fathers...we have a lot of BAD MOTHERS yet the media chooses to hype the GOOD MOTHERS over the bad ones & celebrate them.... so is it that we also have a lot of GOOD FATHERS but we hype BAD FATHERS over the GOOD FATHERS & don't celebrate our FATHERS

I don't know what your FATHER might have done to you that had influence you negatively to develop deep HATRED & invoke CURSES on your FATHER...Yes indeed a lot of FATHERS have made the mistake of shirking their RESPONSIBILITIES but For Christ sake, let's forgive them because it is GOD who chose our FATHER & MOTHER on our behalf

FATHERS like all human beings make mistakes but let us not define them by their mistakes because the fact that a person has made a mistake doesn't mean that they are a MISTAKE... Let's arise and celebrate our FATHERS
