THE IMMENSITY OF GOD'S GRACE
Ephesians 2:6-7 (KJV)
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Through His calling, He has placed you in the same rank as His Son Jesus Christ, and has made you to sit with him in heavenly places. This alone should cause you to sing and dance to the praise of His calling! You have a throne in heaven, exactly where Christ is seated as king. What does this mean? It means that you are also a king, of the rank of Christ.
The world may not acknowledge you as a king because they have not seen you in your glory. Just relax. Only acknowledge yourself to be king and walk in the light of this consciousness. John shares the same thought when he wrote,
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is" (1John 3:2)
The time will soon come when God shall unveil His sons to the world. In that day, it shall be all glory. This is what we call the future glorification of the sons of God. The whole world shall marvel to know that all this while we had been God's true sons. We shall be the praise the glory of his grace even as we are now. The whole world shall acknowledge that God's grace is fully reckoned in us, His glorified sons. Hallelujah! You are the joy of the whole world. Rejoice in your calling as the immensity of God's grace.
The Fellowship Of The Holy Spirit
'May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.'
2 Corinthians 13:14 (NIV)
Over the years, research has proven that most relationships and marriages collapse due to lack of communication and failure to spend time together with our loved ones. You cannot claim to love somebody without spending time with that one. Love demands time with the beloved.
God had a need for intimacy from the beginning and hence the need to create man in His image and likeness. Yet man has relegated God's need to last on his priority list. It is the least we care for in our walk today as believers.
My dear, the harlot can only be joined unto someone through intercourse. Similarly, one can only be joined unto the Lord only through fellowship.
The word fellowship is the Greek word 'koinōnia' which means communion, partnership or an intercourse. Brethren, when we fellowship with the Spirit, God becomes real, He reveals his deep thoughts, open His treasuries and lay uncovered before His beloveds. In an intercourse, the partner is not ashamed to uncover herself. Likewise, in our intercourse with the Spirit of God, God unveils all that there is to man. In fellowship, He is not ashamed to go 'naked' and make Himself known unto man. It is only in fellowship that God is compelled to show man hidden things. Hallelujah!
Beloved, the Spirit yearns for you for fellowship. Do not be too busy to exchange this fellowship with vanity. Pray more, commit to the study of the word, speak the language of the Spirit and consciously make time to fellowship with Him in spirit everyday and every time. God can’t wait to have you in His Chambers. Selah!
PRAYER
Father, I thank you flooding my spirit and soul with light today. Precious Holy Spirit, help me to fellowship with you at all times. Help me today to be mindful of your call to fellowship in Jesus name, amen.
