You probably know how you would react if someone told you that your house is burning, or that you just played a prize. But how would you react if someone told you that the Son of the true living God is about to return personally to this earth? Would you take it seriously? Would you ask if your friend is crazy?

Is it the literal return of Christ, or does it refer to when it enters our heart? Will it really happen? What does the Bible say about it?

Let us make a personal check of your reaction before studying this message:

I do not think so at all.

I would ask for scientific evidence.
An intelligent person knows more than that.
I never thought about this seriously
Just thinking about it depresses me and scares me.
I think it's getting closer, but there are still many years left.
It could happen any day.
My grandmother believed it.
Nothing has happened so far.
It is one more comment about the end of the world.
I would like it to be right away.

You may think, "I think Christ is going to come back, and sometimes I think it may be soon, but I'm confused and I have a lot of questions in my head." Maybe you will find some of your questions here in this post.

▶ Is it the return of Christ for real, or does it refer to when nothing else enters our hearts?

▶ We have heard for a long time that it is coming, and nothing has happened yet. And I wonder: Will it really happen now?

1 Thessalonians 4:13

The second coming of Christ is the most important subject in the Bible.

It is found 380 times in the New Testament. It is found in one verse of every 25. We can see the importance that heaven gives to this important subject.

Through the ages this has been the hope of the people of God.

We are in the time of science, and we turn to utopia. There are no difficulties so great that man is not able to solve with science.

But that dream has not been fulfilled, no matter how much they have tried to save humanity from destruction altogether.

How much the atmosphere and the earth have been contaminated, how many wastes have damaged rivers and seas and lakes. The fields and vegetation are being replaced with cement and construction; and all the nuclear bombs hidden around the world.

It is not surprising that so many people in the world, and many of them professionals, contemplate the possibility of the return of Christ, and even many of them say that it is almost man's only hope.

WILL CHRIST RETURN AGAIN?

This is the testimony that Christ gives of himself

In my Father's house there are many mansions: otherwise I would have told you: I am going to prepare a place for you.

▶ What did Christ promise under oath in his judgment? Matthew 26:64

Jesus said to him: You have said it: and I say to you, that from now on you will see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of the power of God, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

For centuries, the people of God had waited for the fulfillment of the promise of the first coming of the Messiah.

But the day arrived when the heavenly messenger announced the arrival in Luke 2:11 With the same assurance that the promise of the first coming of Jesus to Earth would be fulfilled, his second advent will happen.

A literal coming

A glorious coming.
A dramatic return.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE FATHER'S COMING?

What word did Jesus give to his followers when they did not know the exact time of his coming? Matthew 24:42

Watch therefore, for you do not know at what hour your Lord is coming.

What other actions does Jesus warn us about? Luke 21: 34-36

"See also for yourselves, lest your hearts be burdened with gluttony and drunkenness and the cares of this whole life, and that day come upon you suddenly: for as a snare shall it come upon all them that dwell on the face of All the earth, therefore, watch at all times, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come, and to stand before the Son of Man. "

The coming of Jesus is closer than many believe, He will come not as the Crucified, but as the King of Glory.

He will seek you. And if you are not waiting for him, he will be sad, because he has a place ready for him.

Thousands will be waiting for you, but your joy will be incomplete without you.

Why does he not say to him in prayer that he loves him and that he is going to prepare, and that he will be waiting for him when he comes?
