SteemChurch - The wisdom that comes from God.
The wisdom that comes from God.
(James 3: 13-17) states:
Who is wise and understanding among you?
Show by good conduct your works in wise meekness. But if you have bitter jealousy and contention in your heart, this is not wisdom that comes from above, but earthly, animal and devilish.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, benign, full of mercy and good fruits, without uncertainty or hypocrisy.
Notice the great difference that exists between the human and the divine point of view regarding wisdom.
From the human point of view, it is called wise to have excelled in the knowledge of all science, and has a broad curriculum. He is praised, and he is also exalted. More God, does not measure wisdom from that perspective, but God approves knowledge and science in the life of man, when they are exercised under the regime of moral values and virtues, within the framework of understanding and prudence.
It says in (Proverbs 2: 6) that:
Jehovah gives wisdom, and from his mouth comes knowledge and intelligence. He provides healthy wisdom to the righteous.
The man in his audacity to know and discover, has climbed to the highest levels of human knowledge, however, we observe that the higher boom takes science, and advances technologies. The world degrades in a greater proportion.
Do you know what the reason for this paradox is?
The Bible has the answer; says in (Romans 1: 21-22) that:
Men were puffed up in their reasoning and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools. For having known God, they did not glorify him or give him thanks. It is not the same to know, to be wise, or to know that to be understood.
The Bible says (Proverbs 9:10) that:
The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the most holy is intelligence. When man develops his intelligence potential with regard to good, and in humility, he counts on the illumination and the endorsement of God, being prospered in the things he undertakes.
But when he does it with pride of heart, violating the divine boundaries, he becomes a fool before the Lord.
Dear reader friend, however high your IQ, try to develop it with humility, and whatever you achieve, put it at the service of good, so that God does not upset the course of its progression, and it goes well, since the Bible says in (Proverbs 11:12) that:
Wisdom dwells with the humble.
You high intelligence student, or prestigious professional who graduated with honors, remain humble so that you receive grace and wisdom before God.
Christ said:
Learn from Me that I am meek and humble of heart and you will find rest for your soul. The Bible says that, God gives grace to the humble, and resists the proud.
Man has acquired much science and little wisdom.
The Bible says (1 Corinthians 3: 19-20) that:
The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, for the Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, which are vain.
It is good to hear the counsel of God, according to (Ephesians 5:15)
Watch carefully, then, how you walk, not as fools but as wise, making good use of time, because the days are bad.
