AN ENCOUNTER WITH GOD
Exodus 3:2-6
2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.3:6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
The scripture recorded that as Moses was keeping the flock of his father inlaw, Jethro, as he got to Mt. Horeb he noticed the fire burning but the bush not consumed. God orchestrates things to catch our attention, whenever we see things as christians that are rare and naturally not possible, we ought to enquire from God.
When Moses saw the burning bush he said to himself "i will stop and ask myself why this is". It takes a good and devoted christian to see the unusual and inquire from God. Most time, God awaits us to respond beforr He proceeds, when He called Samuel, the first two times He didnt proceed not until when samuel responded, then God proceeded to speak with Him.
The place of encounter does not just talk about Salvation experience, though it is vital, that you are born again does not mean that you have discovered the Hope of your calling. Encounter talks more specifically on understanding God's purpose in your life, undedstanding the place of God in your life.
Most time we ask ourselves some questio s that limits our progress, such as " Who am i to do this?, Can i really do this? We ask these questions because we are yet to understand how God sees us and our place in Him.

A personal encounter with God reveals His purpose in us. When you encounter God, things begin to turn around for good, you begin to experience divine favour, divine breakthrough, supernatural blessings, infact you start being a blessing to others, an encouter with God makes your life outstanding and unique, you begin to grow in wisdom and in possession.
An encounter with God gives our life direction and defines our purpose.
An encounter with God makes you start thinking beyond the reasoning of men, you begin to understand the principles of living in Christ. In short, an encounter with God makes life easier than ever before, because he begins to reveal things beyond human imagination to us.

We do not need to focus on how big our problem is, all we need to know and understand is how Great our God is, because He is and forever be bigger than every of our problems.
God does not choose because of our capacity, He sees the end from the beginning, He chooses based on the future. When Christ was choosing the disciples, He could see the capacity theu had, no wonder He told Peter who was a fisherman that He shall make Him fishers of men.
Encounter God today and begin to experience a turn around in all of your endeavours, be it academically, financially, maritally, physically e.t.c. God is always willing to meet with you at every point you seek Him, Dont waste time, the earlier the Better.

Our lives should be focussed on how to please God and not humans , an encounter with the savour is the best thing that we should aways pray for every time if our lives .
Righteousness is the key to everything we need.

You cannot have an encounter with God and remain the same there is this wonderful transformation that is experienced from that encounter.
Most encounters or all permit to say with persons in the scripture did not leave them same way, when you have an encounter with the king of you community,you are likely to receive many blessings both cash or kind diverse gifts of all sorts.How much more God who is the king of kings will definitely shower us both spiritual and physical gift if we just encounter him.
