I have always thought that Jesus Christ should have been given some diplomatic immunity while on Earth. He had none possibly so as to fulfill the scriptures. We have an opportunity to use this passage to remind ourselves of the extent to which the enemy goes to ensure that we do not measure up to the standard of God.

The shed blood of Jesus was the provision for any condition that we fail to meet. It was shed for no just cause, as we found out in the Ephesians 6:10-20; God has declared in His word that no unclean thing will enter into heaven. It must have been to the end that the ministry of Jesus Christ is not limited to His death on the cross. God enabled Him to pray for His followers (John 17). He has made it possible for us to see how much hardship the Lord experienced on Earth, this adds value to our salvation. Stand Therefore, Time is now.
