What If Some Do Not Believe?
This question has become very relevant and important considering the fact that many in the world today are not taking the word of God for what it says. This is equally confusing faithful Christians today who think: may be it doesn't matter if we don't do it the Bible way or call it the Bible name. So, what if some do not believe what is written in the scriptures? What if some do the things of God in their own way or call Bible things by their own name?
Text: Romans 3: 1-4
What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, or what value is there in circumcision? Much in every way! First of all, the Jews have been entrusted with the very words of God. What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.”
The question is “will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! God forbid! Even if those doing it are in the majority, their unbelief will not negate or nullify the faithfulness of God. This is because if all men are liars, God will remain true. God is not going to change His way and will because majority are not following it. God's way is not always that of 'majority carries the vote'; otherwise He will not destroy the world in the days of Noah, when only eight souls out of the whole world at that time entered the ark.

The challenge before Christians today is to learn to take God for His words. God is too big to go back on or swallow His words. “If we do not believe, He abides faithful; He cannot deny Himself” (II Timothy 2: 13). God exalts His words more than His name (Psalm 138: 2). Holding on to the word of God, even when it runs contrary to our expectations is what faith and trust are all about.
Hebrew 4: 1-3
Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
Not believing God's word will not make the faithfulness of God to be of no effect or void God's word. These are similar questions that can challenge us as God's children. For what if some did not believe, will the word of God profit them? Again, certainly not! When the word of God does not mix with faith in us, then we cannot profit from it. It is the mixing with faith that will prompt obedience, which can then yield multiple fruits of repentance, salvation and blessing.
We must learn obedience like Christ and always be prepared to take God's word for it. God‘s way for Jesus to save mankind was hard, but God's will must be done. That is faithful obedience. It is not with man that walks to direct his footsteps. There have been in all ages many unprofitable hearers; and unbelief is at the root of all unfruitfulness in the word. Profitable hearers derive life for fruitfulness from the Word by their faith. The Word as spiritual food needs to be applied and appropriated into our lives for it to benefit us. Hearing alone is of little value; like an undigested food in a bad stomach
For what if some did not believe, should we follow their unbelief? Certainly not! We need to grow in faith and develop ourselves spiritually beyond the vain deceits of religion. We must rightly divide the word of God, discern the true spirit of God and stick to the truth in the scriptures.
Let us beware of following multitudes in unbelief. Let us hold on to the truth of God's word.
I interacted with someone on Steemit recently who did not believe the scriptures. I later found out he had attended Christian schools when he was younger. I just tried to show him how the bible is helping us.
Hey there, glad you made it to SteemChurch - the first church on the blockchain. Please do well to check other posts on the tag and leave your contributions on them.

I have no problem at all believing all of the scriptures. A faithful Christian who does not believe God’s Word is an oxymoron. It cannot happen. The Christian is a follower of the teachings of Jesus. So believing His Word is a prerequisite to having faith.
The easiest thing is to believe God’s Word. Since I became a Christian until now it has been easy to believe. A person who does not believe, has simply decided not to believe for many reasons, but mostly they like living solely for themselves.
Good thoughts!
