After my experience of yesterday, it seemed to me like I've lost it.

Due to the fact that I Lost almost everything I had, I just became sober all day.

On a second thought, I decided to take solace with the Bible, as is the tradition in our house.

I opened up to the book of
Habakkuk: 3 and I read through to verse 16, which reads.

16 . When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.

1. Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls

18 . Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

1. The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

I came to the understanding that my situation is not peculiar to me alone, it's an occurrence that can meet up with anyone, and I was just opportuned to be in the wrong place at whatever time.

With that said, I have decided to rejoice in the Lord, whether I recover from my loss or not,

I WILL REJOICE, I WILL JOY IN THE GOD OF MY SALVATION.

I had learnt a great lesson from this episode, how that we always need God in our lives. At every point in time, we need Him, when we are up , we need Him, when we are down we need Him, when things are going well with us,we need Him, when things go wrongly, that's when we need Him the Most.
He said in His word,

Come ye to me , all ye that are burdened and heavy laden , and I will Give you rest.
