Be still and know that I am God

Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

The preceding verses capture exactly the current state of our countries. There have been chaos everywhere and fear growing with each passing day. People are scared for their life and the life of their families, countries going into panic and avoiding gatherings as a preventive measures for the viral disease. All focus of individuals and group has been on the news going on media and many might have said to themselves if there's still hope for them.

The Good news is that, there's nothing happening that the Lord is not aware of or didn't know of it before hand. In such a time as this, false prophets may arise and try to lure many into ungodly act with itching words in pursue of safety or peace.

What is currently happening portray the fact that, as long as we are on Earth, we will find no peace, even countries known with the highest standard on health delivery couldn't provide a cure for the disease(covid19)., It portray that no man can we put our trust on because they can't help themselves.

God today is asking us to be still amidst all the troubles , all the pains and all the chaos and turn back to him as God. He is asking us to put our trust in Him alone and believe in His mighty works and power and lay all our burdens on Him and be still while others run looking for solutions and be still while others are confuse and be still while others are troubled.

God wants us to recognize His awesomeness and power over all situations and over all things that men finds difficult and challenge. He wants to understand that help comes only from Him who created heaven and Earth and also made men. If only we can be still and allow God take over then everything will become calm and peaceful once again.
