Help your brother in Christ is testimony of Victoria in your life
Help your brother in Christ is testimony of Victoria in your life
Jesus said: "Love your neighbor as yourself", in these words we summarize six of the ten commandments. Love is action not just words. One of those actions is to help our neighbor.
Usually, when we hear the words help others, we associate them with giving money or goods to someone. Which could be true, however the material needs are the smallest needs of the human being. There are better ways to help others, here are some:
Inspiring: Many go through life frustrated, with no desire for anything. This is our opportunity to challenge them, to show them that there is something better after that Red Sea, that things could improve.
Finally, and the best of the above, preach the Gospel: We all need to hear and continue to hear the Gospel until the last day of our lives. Sometimes we think that the message of the Gospel is only for the unconverted, how wrong we are!
The word "gospel" means "good news". Why limit ourselves to hearing this good news, only a couple of times?
For you and your family or friends, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a message that contains hope, challenges, inspiration and consolation.
The good news is that we were lost but Christ came to look for us, gave his life for us, and for Him, we are declared innocent before God and not only that, but we are called children of God, and there is still more, we will be a glorified day and inhabitants of a celestial homeland. But while that is coming, Jesus Christ promised to be with us every day. Does not that comfort or inspire?
As you see, helping others can not only be done with money or goods. Yes we have Jesus Christ and if we are in Him and He in us, we have abundant riches to share with others.
Let us not sit idly by, help, preach and if we can supply for a material need, let's also do it.
Thank you for this wonderful revelation. I'd like to read more! A resteem and a follow. Cheers.
