Who Moved My Cheese and the Four Forces

I read Who Moved My Cheese for Kids to my 9-year-old child as of late. It's a fun little book, in light of the eponymous hit, around four characters who live in a 'labyrinth' and search for 'cheese' to feed them and make them cheerful. You most likely know how the story goes as of now (it was a success) yet in the event that not, or you've overlooked, here's a fast outline:

Two of the characters are mice named Sniff and Scurry and two are little individuals – creatures the span of mice who look and act a great deal like individuals. Their names are Hem and Haw. The 'cheese' is an analogy for what you need to have in life – whether it's a great job, an adoring relationship, cash, belonging, wellbeing, or significant serenity. The 'labyrinth' is the place you search for what you need – the association you work in, or the family or group you live in.

In the story, the characters are looked with surprising change. In the long run, one of the little individuals manages it effectively, and composes what he has gained from his experience on the labyrinth dividers. When you come to see the penmanship on the divider you can find for yourself how to manage change, with the goal that you appreciate not so much pressure but rather more achievement (in any case you characterize it) in your work and life.

There's a great deal of truth in the book and I figured it is amusing to relate the four characters to the four PSIU powers of Organizational Physics. That route, whenever you're dealing with a Hem, Haw, Sniff, or Scurry, you'll have a superior sense for how to deal with it.

More or less:

  • Sniff is an Innovator style. He has the capacity to detect and react to changes occurring in the earth substantially more rapidly than alternate styles. He gets amped up for making new things and preferences you to get energized with him.

  • Scurry is a Producer style. He has the capacity to run, run, run and take the necessary steps from ahead of schedule to late. He gets baffled when there are obstructions in his way and looks to circled them or punch through them.

  • Hem is a Stabilizer style. He has the capacity to make things systematized and controllable. In the story, it is Hem who gets left behind on the grounds that change can be viewed as a huge danger to somebody who exceeds expectations at control and strength.

  • Haw is a Unifier style. He has the capacity to sympathize associate well with others. In the story, it is Haw who takes after Sniff and Scurry however at the same time is worried about where Hem is and how Hem is getting along. At last, Haw leaves the written work on the divider for others, similar to Hem to take after.

Key Takeaways

The primary concern I need you to take away is that the four PSIU powers of Organizational Physics are all inclusive. That implies they appear in great kids' books and the board room alike. When you figure out how to spot and comprehend them, you exponentially increment your own abilities as a communicator and administrator.

The second thing that I need you to take away is that, similarly as in the story Who Moved My Cheese, the right way to deal with overseeing change is to be on the correct side of the framework above. The Producer and Innovator are both lean-forward styles who exceed expectations at sniffing out change and scurrying to influence it to work to support them. You too should incline toward change as opposed to lean far from it.

The third thing that I need you to take away isn't in the story. It's that the left half of the framework, the Stabilizer and Unifier, likewise convey mind blowing an incentive to the table. They help to make things systematized and effective and administer to others while keeping everybody functioning admirably as a group.

It takes a correlative group to oversee and react to change. One side without the other is destined to fall flat. At the end of the day, all sides — all powers — working in show towards a shared objective are what makes "finding the cheese" really fun and feasible after some time

I agree. The best way to handle change is to detect it early and make it work for you. That way, you can let the change evolve around you rather than the other way round. This is really revealing

That's a good book, I got to read it when I was in college. It is very entertaining and also leaves a good message ... we must act when we move the cheese ... and deal with the changes that come our way, usually it costs me a bit to accept the changes and that is not good. I must learn to handle those situations more quickly. Very good advice that you bring us in this publication. Thanks for sharing. God bless you.

Nice post @rameelkarim sniff@curry are great. Congratulations
