ONE GOD, ONE GOSPEL
How time really changes things. Twenty years ago, it may not have been possible for these two giants of faith to stand on same platform not out of hatred but owing to doctrinal differences. Some ignorant members of both denominations called themselves names with the false feeling that they are better informed than the other. I wonder where they all are today. But see the two fathers still serving their God with joy on the same platform. My Counsel:
- Be a Christian and leave doctrine alone.
- Stand for Christ rather than for doctrine.
- That someone has another opinion of the faith does not make him or her inferior to you in any way. You and yours are not the standard.
- Heaven is being prepared for Christians only not for people of any particular denomination.
- When you evangelize, preach Christ not church.
- Never carry on your head a matter you know little or nothing about.
- Build bridges across denominations rather than building walls.
- Always live with a consciousness of the fact that God will not ask you where you worshiped but how you lived.
