Worship only the living God, gold and silver are the work of men(man-made gods)...There is babylonian's golden image everywhere around us today.

"Oh! King, we are not mindful to what we will answer, if it's that your golden image, forget it... We are not going anywhere close to obeying you."

Can we find this kind of people in our today's world, who will forsake the pleasure of the king for a fierce furnace...

This is what I called holistic dedication to God, and mind you, God is still for people like those three Hebrew boys.

Babylon was a great city, beautifully built with a lot of amusement and watertight security, a kind of nation one can only compare with United States of America in our world today, people are just killing themselves to get into that nation, many people especially from Africa region has lost their lives just to set their foot on that soil.
Compare the pleasure that is available at this guys disposal but they choose to be burnt for the seek of God.
Everybody were bowing down and was worshipping the King's golden image, and were enjoying the sin that separates man from God, but these boys said no, even at the cost of their lives.
King Nebuchadnezzar was highly angered and ordered his guards to intensified the furnace, but these Hebrew boys were unmoved.

I prefer to be in a fire Jesus than staying in a place with the devil!.

What have the world given to you in order to deny your creator(God)?.
What have you even used to replace the place of God in your life?.

Daniel 3:17-18

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Those were the response of a heart that's ready to die for God, because they knew the God of heaven and earth...when He's set to deliver even fire become an air-conditioning place, den of Lion turns into a secure room.
The Bible says;
Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

There was an exchange of death in these scene..reads these;
Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.
And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

I speak to your life, anyone seeking your downfall, will definitely get what he's planning against you...

In the midst of that fire, there the son of God appeared; the Bible says,

He who lost his life for Jesus sake, shall have it back in full; Paul said, to live is gain and to die is gain in Christ..
