THE BITTER TRUTH; THE NEW GENERATION HAS SPOILT IT; THEY HAVE FORSAKEN MY ORDINANCE AND HAVE BOW DOWN TO BAAL...
THE GOOD OLD DAYS, WHEN THINGS WERE JUST THE WAY THEY ARE MEANT TO BE....NOT NOW THAT WE HAVE A LOT OF THINGS TRYING TO BE ANOTHER THING, MEN OF GOD ARE OUT FOR MONEY; SHEPHERD FEEDING ON THE FATEST SHEEP, DISOBEDIENCE IN CHILDREN NOW, IS ALMOST A NORMAL THING(CULTURE).
THIS IS NOT LIKE THIS, IN THE OLDEN DAYS:
Take me back to the old Ways, when Mothers were at home.
Fathers were grinding away.
Brothers went into the armed force.
Also, sisters got hitched BEFORE having kids!
Wrongdoing did not pay; Diligent work did;
What's more, individuals knew the distinction.
Mothers could cook; Fathers would work;
Youngsters would act...
Spouses were adoring; Wives were steady; and kids were considerate.
Ladies wore the dresses; and Men wore the pants.
Ladies looked like ladies;Men looked like respectable men; and youngsters looked nice.
Individuals adored reality, and abhorred a lie;
They came to chapel to get IN, Not to get OUT!
Songs sounded Virtuous; Messages sounded accommodating;
Celebrating sounded ordinary; and crying sounded true.
Reviling was insidious; Drinking was detestable; and separate was incomprehensible.
We read the Bible in broad daylight; Asked in school;
Furthermore, lectured from house to house.
To be known as a Christian was worth living for;
To be known as a trickster was a disgrace!
Sex was an individual word. Gay was an unfathomable word, And fetus removal was an illicit word.
Evangelists lectured in light of the fact that they had a message; and
Christians cheered in light of the fact that they had the Triumph!
Ministers lectured from the Bible;
Vocalists sang from the heart;
Heathens swung to the Ruler to be Spared!
Another birth implied another life; Salvation implied a changed life;
Following Christ prompted unceasing life.
Being a minister implied you declared the expression of God;
Being an elder implied you would serve the Ruler;
Being a Christian implied you would live for Jesus;
Also, being a miscreant implied somebody was appealing to God for you!
Laws depended on the Bible;
Homes read the Bible;
Also, places of worship educated the Bible.
Ministers were more keen on new changes over than new garments and new autos.
Church was the place you discovered Christians on the Ruler's day, as opposed to being engaged someway.
Give me that outdated religion!

We have missed it, while the young were cheering, the old men who saw the eminence of first sanctuary were crying and asking, where is the previous transcendence?.
Christians has opened up themselves for a great deal of bizarre educating to shape their lives, so dismissing scriptural method for God.
The splits on the divider has given villain and his co-hort approach to infiltrate into the congregation of Jesus Christ.
We are really going to fail the next generation, if we continues the way, if no one care about the general decline in discplines and moral code
Our youth competite on wrong work, and we sit behind and claps, while their very soul is a potential candidant for hell.
We need to work harded now, to bring bibilical standard of living into our society.

@princluv: I can relate to each of those statements up there.... I think we are the generation who have had the opportunity to see our parents live the old life style and the new generations, typically millennial, moving away from the old way of life... It was a good read...
@rajivv203, I understand your point of view correctly....and i appreciate your insightful contribution, but the old time, am talking about here, is actually our sincere and truthful state of mind, spiritual, physical and mentally....we live mostly in pretence, evil are no more seen as evil, money today is better than good name and all these are contrary to our holy books.

When we buried my father, I told the audience, they didn’t make men like him anymore. Hard working and honest. Generous and lending a helping hand to anyone. At one time the majority was like this, but today this sort is the minority.

Unfortunately, we live in this millennial age where once considered "bad choices" and abominable is the norm now. For me, I would rather go back to the "outdated religion" because back in the days, parents and elders were respected, children were sensitive and considrate human beings, good choices were based on what the Scriptures say, unlike what's happening now. Moral decline is progressing, and people support it with their bad choices in life. If you go against it, you will be called names, and "bigot" is one of them.
