A warm morning to the @steemchurch and all its apostles and followers especially to .. @sirknight ..the brain behind this crusade. Today I will be talking about temptations the devil brings to us.

The spirit of God came down and introduced his beloved son to the world. He is holy in spirit and heart. He brought him to die for our sins so we may be holy but the devil is always coming with temptation for us to sin. The devil tempts us with things that are not his. He takes things that God has created to tempt is when we can ask from the lord and he'll give us freely. We can over come the temptation only if our hearts is in the path of righteousness.

As humans our hearts are impregnable. We can over come temptations through the help of the holy spirit by knowing who we are, whose we are and where you are and who you stand for.
The devil tries to enter our mind at every chance but he only gets inside when you open it to him. If your heart is always with God at every moment he can never get his way in. The devil cannot oppress you or conquer you when you always have the word of God in you and you work in it. In the bible the devil tried to tempt Jesus forgetting that Jesus is the Word himself. Jesus wasn't moved by what Satan said because greater is He in Jesus than he that is in world. The devil knew Jesus was hungry so he thought he could get him with food but Jesus told him "man shall not leave by bread alone".

The devil always looks for ways he can get us. Either through what we like most or what we really desire at the moment. Sometimes he uses money as the bait, food, women, alcohol and other things for us to be trapped. When he wins our hearts he tries to destroy our relationship with God so we can live in sin. When he does that we no longer pray, you no longer feel bad for your sins instead we go deep in it and we don't ask God for forgiveness. When the devil wants to tempt us he does it like we can't live without it making us think we'll die if we don't get it...
