Eloi Eloi Lama Sabachthani ( my God my God! Why have you forsaken me?)
Hello
36-38 Then Jesus went with them to a garden called Gethsemane and told his disciples, “Stay here while I go over there and pray.” Taking along Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he plunged into an agonizing sorrow. Then he said, “This sorrow is crushing my life out. Stay here and keep vigil with me.”
39 Going a little ahead, he fell on his face, praying, “My Father, if there is any way, get me out of this. But please, not what I want. You, what do you want?”
Mathew 26:38-39, The message
Have you ever been in this situation, or close to this experience? Or are you going through a painful psychological experience, because of something that is happening to you right now, or is it out of the fear of pain you're about to face? Whatever it is, he (Christ), can relate. Even though you feel forsaken, God never never never forsake his own, but he also never protect them from paying a rightful price for their assignment, he never protect them always from experiencing the reality of the fall world.
Christ came with a clear understanding of his purpose and mission. He knew what will take to accomplish the task ahead, but when time had come, he was distressed. It is not easy to face painful experiences in life, to any man born of a woman.
In spite of all the painful experiences. In spite of his soul being crashed, and life sucked out of it, Christ kept going.
But two things kept him going
Because he knew his death will save many.
#Because He knew it was his father's wish for him to die.
So when you go through painful moments because of your values, faith, vision, etc. Do not think God as forsaken you, you are just paying the rightful price.
Just two things you should always ask yourself
First, Is it God's will?
Second, after paying the price how many lives will benefit from that?
The big the assignment, the greater the price. God may send angels to encourage you, but not take away the price you must pay.
Restrain yourself also from, using other means to get out of the process, like what Peter when he tried to fight for Christ. Christ told him, don't you think I'm able to called twelve thousands Angels to fight for me?
This is the hour of the kingdom of darkness. Let me go through the process Peter!
Stay in, until your made perfect/ fit and qualified for what God as for you, through paying the price.
Remember, you're not forsaken, you're just paying a rightful price.
Thank you for your time
