Why & How You Should Encourage Others |SirKnight The Greatest Encourager

Yea, assuredly, there are so many people wandering about with very great ideas but there is no one to support them or assist them even by means of encouragement or financially. Yea, look at brother @abiye who had a vision to feed the whole world with fresh fish starting from his local community. Probably, he must have shared his vision with some of his friends and probably his family but wasn't getting any form of encouragement. He came online and found a challenge which he earnestly pursued @celestial challenge and furthermore came across a little church as at then @steemchurch and started blessing the whole of steemit with his well thought out post.

Finally, through his regular and consistent posting, he met the greatest encourager and human developer @Sirknight and shared his vision with Him. Obviously, the Knight was enthused with the such a great vision that someone could have and then encouraged him with both financial and all other supports you can think of. Now that's what encouragement should be.

Sometimes, we might be in situations where we can't help financially but we can help emotionally, we can help spiritually through prayers and as well as other areas. Even God is pleased to have us encourage others that need encouragement. Even the great Knight needs encouragement to continue helping people on steemit. When we post quality posts and well structured posts, without spamming ,the Knight is happy and blessed us through his upvotes. That's how life is.

When we encourage others, God is happy with us and shows that we don't only think about ourselves but others. It shows that we are following after God who despite our sins sent His only begotten son to die for us. We should always learn to put others first before ourselves.

Therefore, how should we encourage and be a good Encourager like the great SirKnight?. See them below;

Firstly, when you find yourself in a position to help, do not procaine. The perfect way to forget about your plans is to say you will do later. You will easily forget if you do that. There are times you wait for the perfect time but it is also very good to respond to people's need almost immediately by praying for them and then doing what you have in mind for them later.

Secondly , if you see anyone passing g through a difficult time, even though you don't know them from anywhere , try as much as possible to show that you care. It is often said that nobody care about how much you know, but about how you care. It's that simple, it could be on social media, try to reply and show encouragement. When I lost my mum, several people on this platform were there for me. That's how it should be.

Thirdly, there is a story my uncle turned dad used to tell me about two kids who went in search of greener pastures. All they were told by their parents was "Remember Home". One got there and did a sticker and pasted it to the door on the entrance to his House. The other completely forgot. However, Everytime the first one got his salary , because of the sticker, he always sends money home for his parents upkeeps but the other one always forgets. Soon they were old and retired home. The first one got a very new well furnished house and the other one had no where to stay. The parents told them that the house was the benefit of remembering home. All the money he was sending, was saved to build a house for him.

Therefore it is important to always remember where you are coming from no matter the position you are right now. That's how life is. Therefore always find out time to reach your parents and friends through any available means as it goes to show that you haven't forgotten them.

Fourthly, if you have someone who may be hospitalized, you can encourage them to be strong by simply taking your time to prepare a very nice dish for them or get a basket fruits for them and letting them know it is from you. It's that simple. Trust me they will sincerely like it.

Lastly, when you are less busy, you can hang out with people like you wife, children, friends , well wishers and others , just to show that you care. Likewise, in all these, when just like how the great knight does, he makes sure he brings one or two scriptures to back whatever he is doing. This is the way to go about encouraging others.
