Brethren, we are offered salvation through Jesus Christ the Son of God. God has the purpose of given us Jesus Christ. This is to save us. After saving our lives, what is there for mankind to do after Jesus Christ has saved us? After salvation, God expects us to change from our evil doing. God seeks our repentance so that we do not be in our old system of Unholiness.
"For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."(1 Thessalonians 5:9-11)
If we have been saved through many afflictions then Apostle Paul teaches us that we should admonish one another and build up ourselves to live a righteous life. Therefore, one can say that God's salvation is there for someone who has change his mind or repented to receive his words. After the salvation through Jesus Christ, thus, after He has poured his blood as a sacrifice for our salvation if we continue to be in our sins, then the salvation become unimportant for us.
We should consider that Jesus suffered on our salvation. He was molested, beaten up, insulted and nailed. He saved us through his mighty hands. We are to also sacrifice our little part of being obedient to his words. Accept him and worship him, so that during his second coming we can render a good accounts to him what we used our bodies for. Thank you for being obedient Christians.
