KING JEHOSHAPHAT
Jehoshaphat was a King of Judah. He was a good King. He was one of the best, most pious and most prosperous King who reigned over Judah. He reigned twenty-five years. The record states that he walked in the way of Asa his father, and departed not from it, doing that which was right in the sight of the Lord.

The Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and did not sought not unto Baalim; but sought to the Lord God of his father and walked in his commandment and not after the doings of Isreal. Also his heart was lifted up in ways of the Lord. He took away the high places and groves out of Judah.
In his work in Judah this good kind sent Levites, the religious servants of the nation, throughout the cities to teach the Law to the people. The Lord blessed him abundantly. He became rich and was influential, even among many of the Judah's Gentiles neighbours. The fear of the Lord fell upon all the Kingdom of the Lands that were round about Judah, so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat. Also some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat presents and tribute silver, and the Arabians brought him flocks; seven thousand and seven hundred rams and seven thousand and seven hundred he goats.
What have you learnt from Jehoshaphat? Upon all his Kingship, he worshipped the Lord from his heart without denying God. Many of us are people who reject God when we occupy higher positions like being Kings, Ministers, Presidents or Directors of some institution. Some time we think that our positions are above worshipping God or we regard our post more than worshipping God. That is how many of us are; we tend to be busy when we occupy such positions; but the fact is the time we were not chosen to occupy that position, we were able to make time for God's work.
Lets remember that is God who assume us into such positions, and if we honour Him with good heart, He will add everything we want. God made Jehoshaphat a King in Judah and made him rich among people on that Land, of which no one could plan killing him. It means that when we worship him well, he will add our heart desire.
Excellent reflection @oppongk, certainly God honored King Jehoshaphat because he sought him with all his heart and also honored him in all his positions, because he recognized that everything he was owed to God. Thanks for sharing.
God bless you.
