"With its feathers it will cover you, And under its wings you will be safe; Shield and buckler is his truth".

Psalm 91: 4

Every time he watched mother hen take care of his chicks, I remember that beautiful verse that the psalmist wrote. Because chickens are brave, they take care of what belongs to them, they are protective and regardless of their size, they do not fear when it comes to defending their chicks. I've seen them several times make some people give a good race to not be pecked by them. In addition they watch that all their chicks are next to her.

How beautiful the comparison made by the psalmist in telling us that he who lives in the shelter of God will dwell under the shadow of the Almighty! It is nice to imagine God protecting us under his great and beautiful wings. Knowing that we are safe in him and that he will not allow us to go through more than we can bear. That regardless of the storm that may be whipping, we are hidden in it.

You and I are not alone or wandering around the world. We have an owner, a father who loves us infinitely and incomparably and who wants the best for us. Do not go far from your coverage because you will be exposing yourself to the predator of predators wanting to steal your soul.

Finally let us remember that part where the psalmist says that shield and shield is his truth. And the shield is a shield made of leather and oval shape and later shaped like a heart. The shield has the characteristic that it is very resistant to the sword and the spear. No doubt God is the greatest truth that anyone can know. He pierces our hearts with his love and also protects it from the darts that continually want to make us weaken.

So do not be sad, rejoice, comfort your soul knowing that you are totally protected under the cover of God.
