THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Holy Spirit is far beyond a feeling, an imagination, a fiction, or even a still small voice. The Holy Spirit is a PERSONALITY, He convicts and not condem, He transforms, empowers and direct.

It must be noted that after the Pentecost day in Acts 1:8 and 2, in which the Holy Spirit was poured down on the disciples, He came down on earth to live with men prior to this He comes and go .

Our greatest undo presently is the fact that most Christians has relegated the person of the Holy Spirit to the use of iPad, laptops , Google and sundry false modes of inspiration. As Christians we must know that it is the Holy Spirit that makes the difference in our gatherings without Him our gatherings could be likened to any kind of unspiritual events or activities.

The Bible says whatsoever is not born of the spirit hath no everlasting life hence no matter how good you are of you do not possess the Holy Spirit then you are merely pleasing the flesh.

FACTS ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

•He empowers one to serve (Acts 1:8)
•He guides us in all truth (John 26:13), He is the believers sixth sense organ.
•He brings about the conversion of unbelievers (John 16:8).
•He changes , reprooves and convicts one He doesn't condemn any
• He is our helper (John 16:7)
•He is our advocate, intercessor, strengthner.
•He Quickens (Romans 8:11, Ezekiel 37:9-14).
•The coming of the Holy Spirit brought along the revelation of Jesus Christ to us.

As Christians we must understand that there is more to the person of the Holy spirits than speaking in tongues, word interpretation et al we must know that the Holy spirits reveals hidden treasures that ordinary eyes or intuition can't harness .

Hence listening to the HolY spirit could be the difference between life and death in some situations therefore let's learn to sharpen our spirit man so as to hearten to the nudge or the leading of the Holy Spirit within.
