THE POWER OF WORDS
Most people underestimate the power of spoken words. Words are so powerful it has strong effect in the soul of a man.
Majority of a man's character and lifestyle is built by the word he has heard or read over time.The quality and content of words Heard or words spoken by you has great way of affecting your life.
What are the kind words you hear and their effects.
Word that are edifying
Words that are moral, words that give positive instructions,word that build up your character is edifying. Its important to hear and speak rightly because in times of challenges you need to look into your soul and search the right instructions and words to tackle the problem .
Words that are edifying increases your level of wisdom and guides you. Word's from parents, friends and God who is the ultimate has a major part to play in your decision making.Let's see what Solomon says in the bible
"In the lips of him who has knowledge wisdom is seen; but a rod is ready for the back of him who is without sense."
"Knowledge is stored up by the wise, but the mouth of the foolish man is a destruction which is near."
Proverbs 10-13 &15 AMP
The only way to store positive Knowledge is to be taught and you learn through words give yourself to moral and spiritual teaching,build your future by speaking the right words,speak where you want to be,what you want to achieve, always speak rightly.Sub consciously the right word reprograms your mind and takes out foolishness, depression, hate and anger.
You might have issues with anger instead of muttering i will kill you or i hate you just say anger you cannot control me i refuse to hate,i refuse to get angry and you will see with time anger will wear off. This is applicable to other areas of life.
God,s word is rich and edifying take time to study all Jesus has done for you,this will enable you speak the right words gotten from teaching in the Bible.Stop confessing sickness, stop using bad words for your children, don't call them names because they might end up becoming what you call them. Always avoid hearing and speaking wrongly the tongue is the smallest past of the body but it's very good and also dangerous.
Let's see five words of wisdom concerning the tongue.
Ephesians 4:29 - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
1 Peter 3:10 - For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
Proverbs 15:28 - The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
Proverbs 12:18 - There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise [is] health.
Proverbs 13:3 - He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: [but] he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
Now you see the importance of speaking rightly, wrong words births depression,pain,rejection,social vises,anger,hate and even low self esteem.
NEVER SPEAK NEGATIVE OF ANY SITUATION.

Words definitely have power, the power to encourage, and build someone up; and the power of discourage and to destroy. It is crazy how the tongue, which happens to be almost the smallest part of our human body, yet it has the power to totally destroy someone's soul. One thing that I keep reminding myself is that, I cannot use the same tongue that worships God and on the other hand to destroy some other people with the same tongue.
