Most christians tend to ask God so many questions when their prayers are not yielding result or their situations are not changing,i begin to wonder why they do that.

As Christians we must understand that it not enough to have faith it must be accompanied with works.

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
James 2:14

Now this scripture points out where many believers miss it. They have faith no doubt but no works and without action you cannot get result.

Work here is an active ingredient to making faith alive its takes you from the realm of having faith to experiencing the works of faith. When faith is mixed with works everything is possible.

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
James 2:17-18

Now the big question is what is work? Work is simply yielding to God,s instructions and acting on Gods word.Abraham was called the father of faith because he obeyed God,s instructions and acted on it.

Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

James 2:21-25

This scripture talks about not just having faith but acting on it.I will give you a typical example.Someone who is ill and a believer actually believes in the finished work of Christ concerning healing.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
1 Peter 2:24

You can see from the scriptures past tense was used "by whose stripes ye were healed" thats it why it is the finished works of Christ.

But even when a christain believes in this, the question is what is the believers confession(works)is he/she mute,negative or positive.Whatever action taken will make Faith perfect(Alive) or Dead.

Lets see some of the actions of Abraham

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee:

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

Genesis 12:1-4

Abraham is someone every believer should emulate,he was called by God to go to a land he will show him without hesitating he left he never asked God a single question that how to act on Gods word. At old age God told him he will become the father of many nations someone who had no child.

But yet he believed God to the extent he was asked to count the stars, as much as he can count so shall his seed be. And he believed in the Lord and he counted it to him as righteousness.

Abraham was also given the greatest test ever and he didn't fail. He was ask to sacrifice his son and he obeyed only to be stopped by God what great faith he had.So as Christians the ability to yield to the spirit of God totally makes our faith perfect and alive. Act on Gods word don't just expect your faith without work to yield result.

Let your Faith be made alive by totally yielding and acting on God's instructions.
