BEING A CHRISTIAN

So many Christians in this world are living a fake life and a life of failure which our Lord Jesus has not given us.

The bible says in 2 Cor 5:13,

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The lord has given us newness of life that is devoid of failure, poverty, sickness etc. As a Christian we are not to imitate the world.

We are to imitate God. Eph 5:1 says

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.

not to imitate evil the bible says in 3 John 1:11,

Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

the bible says we have overcome the world so why are we imitating what we have already conquered.

We are set as an example to the world and not the other way round. We are light in this world we are meant to shine.

To reflect the beauty of God in others. Do you know that we are meant to be Christ Imitators that is why we are called Christians.

Just ponder on this question

" What record will heaven bear of you if you as a devout faithful brothers was caught in a sinful act by an unbeliever - An unbeliever who wants to give his life to Christ?"

Being a christian is not just a word it is "imitating Christ".

Christ has paid the price, he has set us free, let others know about this.
