ARE YOU WISE?

This is a question that we as believers should ask ourselves. You cannot serve a wise Gud and be foolish. It is your sole responsibility as a Christian to choose to be wise.

The bible says in Matthew 10:16

...be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

The Bible also says in the book of proverbs 9:10

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Nowadays i wonder if our youth are even wise with the way they are killing themselves over immaterial things.

I heard a news of how a full grown man killed his father and mother because they refuse to give him his monthly stipends.

Wisdom is not something that you can just get anywhere. It is from God. This wisdom from God gives you prosperity and life.

The bible says in Proverbs 3:13-14.

13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold,

Ask of this wisdom from God.

The bible says in James 1:5.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

He will give you, Solomon asked and he was given and became the richest man of his time.

Some people feels they are wise but in the sight of God they are not wise.

Lets take a look at the ten virgins. The bible says five were wise and five were stupid. The difference between the wise and foolish is their time management.

Read matthew 25:1-13

The wise saves time but the foolish wastes time. Another aspect of wisdom is winning souls. How many live have you touched? Have many people have you preached the message of God to? How many of your friends have you advised and preached to?

The bible says in Prov 11:30.

...and he that winneth souls is wise.

Wise people imparts other people's live positively either directly or indirectly. As a Christian you have to choose to be wise (get wisdom from God). Be a blessing to others. Impart lives positively and pray for others. God bless you!
