STEEMCHURCH: Animals are beings of God
Hello dear friends of the steemchurch community, once again I want to make my contribution to this space created by @sirknight and @steemchurch, which have been fundamental pillars for all this revolution created in the name of God.
On this occasion, I want to talk to you once again about the infinite love of God, and because it is infinite it includes all the beings of the world, just as God loves you and me, he also loves animals.
In Genesis 1: 24 we talk about the goodness of God in the creation of the world, I believe everything that surrounds us in just 7 days, everything necessary for our stay on earth. On the fifth day it is said that I create the animals.

Although we are privileged beings, because God does not believe in his image and likeness, that does not mean that the animals that accompany us are beings that deserve to be respected. I see how in the streets, they despise, attack and violate the life of animals. And we have to consider that God does not like that, he does not like badness and bad intentions in any of its facets.
God has been very clear with his word, and for that I leave witnesses of his work in the world. We have to follow his legacy, we have to honor him that we are true children of God, faithful to what he left for us.
Psalm 50: 10-11 "For mine is every beast of the forest, And the thousands of animals in the hills. I know all the birds of the mountains, and everything that moves in the fields belongs to me."
We might think that we own animals, particularly our domestic animals, but the Bible teaches that these are not really ours. We are only stewards of what God has given us. God owns "all the beasts" there are, including his cattle or sheep or oxen or whatever his property is, including his pets. In fact, everything that "moves in the field is" of God. The point is that it is better to think that way when we are taking care of God's creatures, big or small.
Luke 14: 5 And he said to them, "Which one of you, if his donkey or his ox falls into a well, will not get it out immediately, even on a sabbath day?"
Jesus is referring to an Old Testament law where even on Saturday, owners were allowed to help an animal in danger, for example one that fell into a well was allowed to be rescued, regardless of whether it was a holy day or not.
If left there, the ox will surely die, so God sees his creatures as important as to take proper care of them and show them mercy, even if it was Saturday. In this case, Jesus had healed a man on the Sabbath, and of course, the Sadducees and Pharisees accused Jesus of breaking the Sabbath, but there was no law against healing on the Sabbath, just as there was no law that did not allow to help the animals on that day. Their hearts were so hardened that they thought of the law of the Sabbath before the needs of people and animals.
God says that every animal that moves on earth can serve as food (Genesis 9: 3), but on the other hand it also affirms that it hates those who practice violence (Psalm 11: 5). So killing animals for simple pleasure is condemned by God.
If we see around us an injustice with animals we have to advocate for them, because they are not our own beings, but God's. And we must take care and watch over everything that is related to him. Let's be responsible people in word and action.
