Do not worry about tomorrow

As we live life daily we come across situation and circumstances that cause us to worry, this worries could be about what we would eat?, what we would wear?, would i get a job?, would i pass my exams?. And several others. This worries put a burden on us and we work extra hard to see that we meet this needs in our life without having time for ourselves to rest. Now let's take a look at the bible and see what it has to say about worrying.

6:25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
6:26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
6:27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
6:28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
6:29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
6:30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
6:31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
6:32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
6:33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
6:34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Mathew 6:25-34

In the passage above we are told not to worry about what we would eat,drink,wear or other worries of life. The example of the bird's and Lilies were even given. The birds of the air do no plant but God still provides for them, how much more we who were created in his image and likeness. One thing that was made clear was that as Christians we should seek the kingdom of God first and all this things shall be added unto us, it's just like a buy one get one free package. We Don't have to struggle like the world before we meet our basic needs, God will make a way for us, thats why sometimes as a Christian you see yourself achieving without Stress what others are struggling for, that's the grace of God upon your life making way for you.

1:16From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another. John 1:16

We were also told not to worry about tomorrow, that each day has enough trouble of it's own, this is very true we should live a day a time forgetting yesterday and not worrying about tomorrow. Worrying would not add anything to our lives so why worry?
