The activities of the believers in The Acts the Apostles were ‘heavily laced with Scriptures.
First, scripture was the justification for their actions.
We first noticed th as they sought to get a replacement for Judas Peter recalled a portion of prophecy where his office was designed to be taken by another.
The sermons were all buttressed by the written word. We see this in Peter's sermon on the day of Pentecost and in their defense before the council.
Finally, the prayers they "offered were laced with Scriptures. This much can be noticed from our lead passage today. There is no better way to pray than to pray with Scriptures. As a matter of fact when you don't know what or how to pray, pray the words of scriptures back to God. This way you cannot pray amiss. in general, for believers whose soledesire is to please God, everything they say or do must align with what God says in His word. Those who live by this rule will certainly experience the power of God in all that they do.

Prayer is known to be one of the most important things a Christian can do. It is a time inwhich they are communicating with God and it should be taken very very seriously.
While there is deep theological meaning in prayer, it doesn't have to be something that is complicated and difficult.

Prayer is actually a 2-way channel through which almighty God and human beings communicate with one another. Communication is really extremely important for any relationship on this planet. By means of prayers, Christians relate their feelings, minds, emotions, needs and inadequacies, whilst God almighty communicates solutions, assurance and also His superiority to the believers.
2. Channel of conquering forces of darkness
All Christians triumph over the Satan through prayers. The Satan has been conquered by the death and also the resurrection of lord Jesus Christ but we implement it through prayers in the name of Christ.
As it is stated, “a prayerless Christian is actually a powerless Christian”. While you pray, you implement your authority in Jesus against all the assaults of the foe.
The purpose of prayer are too numerous to mention. A popular conception of prayer is that if we all have faith in God, and pray diligently and if the cause we are praying for is a righteous one (like the health of another person), then God almighty will intervene in a supernatural way to make our wish come true.

God has said that his word will not return to him unless they have served its course.
For heaven an earth will pass away but the words of God remains thesame.
Reminding God of his promises during prayer is a clear evidennce to God that you know your right.And by so you are tasking God to keep to his words.And he can not betray himself.
So read the bible so you can be well grounded on the privilleages you have in God
