STEEMCHURCH: Love of neighbor

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your strength. This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is similar to this one: You will love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22: 37-4.
After talking about God's love, the greatest commandment is love of neighbor.

Love of neighbor necessarily derives from the love of God, and there can be no true love of God without one's neighbor, at the moment of truth religion becomes reality when one says that he loves God and loves his neighbor.

If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; because he who does not love his brother whom he sees, can not love God, whom he has not seen. And we have this commandment from him: He who loves God, also loves his brother.

(I John 2: 9-11, 4: 20-21). Who is your neighbor ?, is everyone who is around you. No matter your social status, if you are poor or rich, there is always a person who needs to be loved.

Love of neighbor is not to love the one who is always in the good with you, it is also to love the enemies, yes, to that person that you do not speak to him or who always argues with you, you must love him.

True love is willing to hate what is bad and loves what is good for the manifestation of true justice.

Genuine love of neighbor is expressed in the facts, and not only in words. It is expressed through what one really does in life.

It manifests in concern for others through speaking with kindness and demonstrating generosity with material possessions given by God.

We must show love to our neighbor so that violence does not harm our healthy way of life. Love of neighbor will make us true spiritual beings that God desires.
