ARPA & COPA (HARP & BOWL)

"the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb; all had harps, and cups of gold filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints. (Rev. 5: 8)

The "Harp" speaks of worshiping God with musical instruments. In other words, the music and songs of God in praise and worship.

The "Cups" of incense speak of the intercessory prayers of the church.

God is ministered in the way that He most likes, when music and intercession flow together. The harp and the cup work together around the Throne of God.

The model of IHOP-KC, is built on the reality of worship intercessor that exists around the Throne of God. Combining adoration with intercession and antiphonal singing, is the basic principle of model of spiritual warfare "Harp & Cup".

We are looking to understand how worship music can flow interactively with intercession, in the same way that happens in the sky.

Intercessory prayer together with anointed music, open our hearts and unify to the intercessors, assisting us in our desire to pray with oneself heart

Spiritual warfare centered on God, is the accord with the heart of God. Fundamentally, spiritual warfare operates through agreement with the Heart of God

Adoration is to agree with Who God is - "You are worthy. You are good". In part, worship is expressed through declaring the truth of "Who God Is".

Intercession is to agree with what God promises to do. The intercession is expressed through declaring what He will do.

In Heaven, adoration and intercession flow like a river. When we tell God who He is, our faith is expanded with the revelation of transcendent God of beauty and power. So, when we agreed with Him in intercession, about what he will do, we do it with great faith.

Traditionally, in the structure of meetings or services, there is a large distinction between praying and singing.

In other words, we praise and worship for 30 minutes and then the music ceases and the intercessors take their place. Despite this, currently the worshipers and intercessors remain connected all the time, as they flow
together in the Spirit.

A strong distinction in separating praise and worship from intercession is the contemporary common model of today.
