RE: Is Superstition Compatible With Bible Teaching???
Superstition is a self-contradictory word. Its believing a lie. You say that superstitious practices have something in common - the lack of logical explanation. I think everything has a logical explanation. Those practicing idolatry, divination, necromancy, sorcery, enchantment and so on all have perfectly logical explanations for their craft but they won't tell you the truth - their power comes from demons. Instead they'll tell you bullshit about "mystic energies" or "chakras" and stuff like that which doesn't seem that evil or taboo to outsiders. Its also possible they really don't know (their master keeps them in the dark) but still they would be doing Satan's work by ignorance - spreading lies.
We need to be careful not to dismiss the supernatural with the superstitious. That is part of Satan's agenda to remove us from the bible. Bringing back dead people to life an atheist will treat like any other superstition. To Christians it is an uncompromising truth. There is much supernatural in the bible and in the world that our modern scientific spirit doesn't want to understand but Christians don't worship the spirit of science - we worship Jesus Christ.
