Today, dear brothers, we go through times where we think we are alone.
Loneliness, trial, duel, anguish, failure ... are words that we all know. The Lord never promised his people that difficulties or tears would be avoided. Instead, he promised his company in difficult times.

• Such is the case of the patient who is in a hospital bed and has no relatives next to him while he is suffering from an illness that affects his life

• Or that widow near the kitchen window, weaving. With the old clock he broke the silence every time he touched the hours. From time to time she directed her gaze to the sofa, where her husband used to sit, and which was now empty.

• Or that worker Alone in his office, with his hands on his head, on the verge of bankruptcy looking at his unpaid bills, and went back to doing his calculations.

• The student Alone in his room, In the vicinity of an important exam, he reviewed his notes one last time. Distressed, I thought about the next day, when I would be alone before a blank sheet.

And so many cases where the person goes through those moments in which to believe that it is only for the moment who is living, in the bible we get the example of people who because of what they were living believed to be alone, but God never was like this He was always at his side.

Let's see an example that invites us to reflect:

At the beginning of his ministry, the apostle Paul heard the Lord say to him: "Do not fear, but speak, and do not walk; because I am with you "(Acts 18: 9-10). And at the end of his life, in the second letter to Timothy, he testified that the promise had been fulfilled: "The Lord stood by me, and gave me strength" (2 Timothy 4:17).

This shows us that God has never departed from us, that there are moments in what we may feel but that are not.

In this journey we will feel many times that life mistreats us, that loneliness hits our soul, but of something if we have to be clear is that our God loves us, and only He knows clearly what we need and even more we must remember that He knows that we need his company and that he will never leave us.

Because a great promise is this:

"Do not fear, because I redeemed you; I named you, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and if by the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you pass through the fire, you will not be burned, nor will the flame burn in you "(Isaiah 43: 1-2).

So dear brother, when you see the moment of senseless loneliness, remember that God is there by your side, if you are sad consoling, if you are depressed by raising yourself if you are distressed giving you strength to continue, if you are overwhelmed giving encouragement, keep in mind that many times in the process of the Christian those days will come but in spite of walking hard he is there and that is our hope

Today many do not have that privilege, because they have not wanted to walk with God and in the difficult moment they have not been able to overcome it and have led them to make wrong decisions. Many have taken their lives because they live without hope.
