Exodus Chapter 32 verse 1-4

And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

And Aaron said unto them, break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.

And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.

And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O is'ra-el which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

As we all know, the Israelites were the people God used his servant Moses to bring out of the land of Egypt. Now they came a time when God asked Moses to go to the mountain in other for him to get the ten commandments from him. As at that time the people of Israel all walked up to Aaron who was the brother of Moses and said to him **"make us a god which we can see and worship as Moses who brought us out of the land of Egypt was no where to be found. Aaron was pressurized to build an image to which he did with their earrings.

Let's read down to verse 19

Exodus 32 verse 19

And it came to pass, as soon as he came high unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' ANGER waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.

When Moses came down from the mountain after forty days, he saw the idol which the people had created and he became very angry and broke the ten commandments which God had crafted and written himself. He did that out of anger and at the end had to go back to the mountain for another forty days without food or water. He began the fasting which he had earlier done all because he got angry and destroyed the commandments.

The Bible says that in time of Moses, there was a man as milk and humble as Moses and yet anger was what sent Moses to his grave

Numbers chapter 20 verse 7

And the lord spake unto Moses saying,

Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.

Verse 11

And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water cane out abundantly, and the congregation drank and their beasts also

When the children of Israel got to the desert of Zin they all started asking Moses for water and Moses cried unto the lord and the Lord asked him to speak to a rock and the rock will bring out water but instead of speaking to the rock, Moses struck the rock with his rod just because he was angry. Water did come out of the rock but that disobedience and anger* led to his death. For disobeying God, the lord asked Moses to climb a mountain and then he showed him the promise land but told him that he wasn't going to enter it all because of anger.

ANGER BRINGS NOTHING GOOD.. IT ONLY LEADS TO DESTRUCTION
