Don't quit! Be all there!
Hello!!!!! Welcome to my blog!
There is an old favourite song titled, "Wherever you are, be all there." That means: Wherever you are and whatever your situation may be, be the very best you can be. Put in your very best!
A christian brother in the USA said, his first job at arrival as a non-immigrant was expected to be exciting, but he was told he would be washing dishes. He could only see two options: Leave and be happy or stay and be miserable. But a friend encouraged him to consider the third option: Stay and maintain the right attitude and then watch for positive results. He decided to stay and be the best dishwasher he could ever be, concluding that he was working for the Lord (Cor 3:22-23).
As a result, even in the washing of dishes, he was all there. You can go through a trial or difficulty with thanksgiving or you can murmur. Murmuring delays your stay in the wilderness. In your office, business, your marriage, church or anywhere you find yourself , be all there for God. Stop comparing and stop complaining.
In Jeremiah 29:4-14. The jews found themselves in an unpleasant situation - captivity in Babylon, but instead of asking "why", the Lord told them in vs 7 to
And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace will you have peace.
