LOVE AND POWER
I want to talk to you about two fundamental elements, which come from God: Love and power. Love is what moves God to do everything he does. He does not do anything without love! What moved him to create the universe and the solar system? Love! What moved him to create man? Love! To do what we do or say what we say, to be as we are, we have motivations; When you speak, something motivates you to do it. There is always a motivation! When a person is resentful, it is the resentment that moves him and what speaks is driven by that resentment. The same happens with bitterness; If someone is bitter, this feeling badly motivates that person. Hatred is what moves people to act and to think. Of all the motivators, par excellence, the greatest, the most important, the best of all and the most blessed is love.
GOD'S LOVE:
There are different kinds of love, but the love that is really worthwhile is that of God. If the love of God is in your life, it motivates and guides you. There are words you would never say if love is in your life. The Bible says that love is benign, patient and merciful, expects everything, suffers everything and endures everything. Everything will be over but love will prevail!
You exist because God in his love wanted to bring you to the world!!
You are God's plan!
THE POWER OF GOD:
There is no love if there is no power. Because if love lacked power, it would not be effective. If there were no power, love would be ridiculous. But love is linked to power and God is love.
It is not something that we are going to produce because we can not produce God. God is love! If there is love, it is because there is God! The Bible says about God that He is Omnipotent which means that God can do everything, meaning, the Almighty.
Regarding power, Jesus said: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" (Acts 1: 8). The power resides in the Holy Spirit, because the Spirit that He has given us is not of fear but of power, love and self-control.

Do not say I can not, I do not have strength or this can do me! Cry out: "Come Holy Spirit and fill me with you!" Not to be outdone, God decided to give us, not a measure of power smaller than he has, but his very measure.
The power that operated in Jesus is the same that operates in the true believers; perhaps in the false ones, no, but in those who are truly believers the great power of the God of heaven operates! God did not say: "To be great and powerful I am going to put on them the spirit of the archangel Gabriel" No! He gave us his same Spirit! Jesus had told his disciples that he was going to die, that he would be resurrected on the third day and go to heaven, but they became sad and believed that they would not see him again, and the Lord answered them: "It is in your interest that I leave, because the Father will send you the promise that he promised you. He will pour out of his Spirit upon you who will guide you into all truth and will advise you. " That is the Spirit of love, of power and self-control! If you have love and power, then you have self-control. You will not say anything to me!
Two things God wants to give you: love and power. If you recognize that you lack these things, first you have to renounce yourself and your plans and tell God: "I give you my life, Lord, I do not want to work more with my strength or my plans. I want your plans and your strengths. I want your love and your power, Lord. " What is impossible for you for God is possible!
Beloved, let us love one another; because love is from God. Everyone who loves, is born of God, and knows God.
He who does not love, has not known God; because God is love.
No, the power that was at work in Jesus is not available to believers. Otherwise we would make the dead live, the sick well, the deaf hear, the dumb speak, and the lame walk.
