This event narrates the time when the people of Israel lived in Egypt for 430 years, which the first years were not exclavos because of what God had to do in the life of Jose son of Israel. Then God raises Moses by using him with power and signs to free his people.

In this biblical passage we can notice the power and majesty of God opening the Red Sea in two so that the people of Israel can cross it and be released from the captivity in which he was in Egypt.

For those of us who believe in God, it is not difficult to understand what happened in the Exodus, since every day we can feel the majesty of God in our lives. Some studies have been carried out to obtain an explanation of this event.

Carl Drews, an NCAR researcher and lead author of a study published in 2010, shows in a computer simulation how a strong easterly wind blowing at just over 100 kilometers per hour could push back the two-meter-deep water, thanks to The two ancient basins joined in a U-shaped curve along the Mediterranean Sea formed a land bridge 2.5 km long and 3 km wide, opening a passage for people to circulate for approximately nine hours.

The research, based on the reconstruction of the depth and location of the water courses of the Nile, can be understood as fluid dynamics and although it does not confirm that the event happened as the Bible says, it does show that it can be physically true.

Jesus Calms the Tempest. Matthew 8: 23-27

23 When Jesus [a] entered the boat, His disciples followed Him.
24 And suddenly there arose a great storm in the Sea of Galilee, so that the waves covered the boat; but Jesus was asleep.
25 When they came to Him, they woke Him up, saying, "Lord, save us, we perish!"
26 And He answered them, "Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?" Then Jesus got up, rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was great calm.
27 The men marveled and said, "Who is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"

In this passage we can see how the winds and the seas obey the voice of Jesus, it is his power and majesty and he reminds us every day that He is the same Yesterday, today and forever.
