Hello Steemians, I'm @Gsaint by name - The Gospel Rapper.

I write my songs by myself. My contents are original. Here is a gospel rap I have written, titled: "Gsaint tells a sad Story - Jakes freestyle".

The use of Pidgin English was also used while I use this opportunity of passing a message with my God-given talent. I recorded with Viva video too.

Rap music has always been something I'm endowed with. I have been looking for a platform where I could display this talent as well as maximize it. Thanks to my friend @gracehills for introducing me to Steemit and informing me about how I can best achieve that aim.

In the success of your neighbor and your labor mates your friends and the people you meet daily then your family


This is the story of a young boy, And his name was Jakes
Backbiters no dey let am rest, like he laid on snakes
Hijack this, Hijack that
They knew all his data
They saw the star he carried and they just want dey fight am


His only offence was that he was intelligent handsome
His mates were competing, be like stop Jake pass me the baton
It wasn't easy for him, he focused like it's the last one
All he needed was encouragement, but then he found none


He kept moving forward, but it was still bad joor
'cus he lived a life of risk, he thought he had no back up
Wanted to be a soft o, but then he started hard drugs
It is so touching tho, hope my story still dey add up


Never believed in God, he wanted it all physical
But if we for show am love, he got turn believer
We for fit calm am down before he jump the river
Before he go out of hand, we for spoil the liver

He had no supporter, all he saw were competitors
Shey the future will be bright, he forgot he saw the vision
He no be the guy wey go fit motivate himself on him own journeying to success, he saw boredom, sold his dreams on the road
