MONDAY MOTIVATION: FOLLOWING EXAMPLES

Let me take most of us back to high school..(pls follow this carefully and patiently)

(Teacher walks into the class)
STUDENTS: Good Morning sir

TEACHER: Good morning class, how are you all?

STUDENTS: Fine, thank you.

(Teacher walks to the board)

TEACHER: Today our topic today is..HIGHEST COMMON FACTOR

(Teacher continues)
To get the highest common factor,Express the number as a product of prime factors;

1. Find the common prime factors
2. Multiply the current prime factor together to give the HCF.

So this is an example.
Find the HCF of 18, 24 and 42.

Solution.

We’ll first of all find the common prime factors, so
18 = 2 x 3 x 3
24 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3
42 = 2 x 3 x 7
The common prime factors are 2 and 3.
Then we multiply the common prime factors to give you The HCF

So HCF = 2 x 3 = 6.
Answer is 6.

Now class, answer this by following the above example.
Q1. Find the HCF of 216 and 288

For the students to answer this, it is imperative they follow the given example. A good mathematician values examples. Same applies to life; if you must pass the tests of life, you have to follow the biblical examples of those who passed it.

1 Cor. 10:11 says

Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition..

Rom. 15:4 also says

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning..

Heb. 6:12 puts a cap on it

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

So are you experiencing life problems? It has solutions, and their are examples of those who came on top of these challenges in life, how did they do it? Follow their examples.

If you follow the recipe, your meal will most likely taste like the chef who prepared the recipe. God hasn’t left us without an example, FOLLOW IT and we’d pass through challenges seamlessly.
