We must be careful when pronouncing this sentence since we can fall into the risk of Fatalism or Narcissism. The first accepts the negative that happens as divine will. When we say your will be done, we are surrendered in the presence of God placing everything in his hands. And willing to accept what God has prepared for us. That father does not want the best for his children, the more he, who is our heavenly father, we are his creation.
Our Father reminds us that we are autonomous, but dependent on others. Our decisions have to be based on others. A selfish will is one that ignores others, is deaf and only listens to itself. Now a responsible will is one that listens to others and by responding to them frees itself from the pressure of selfishness.
IN HEAVEN LIKE ON EARTH
God has a concrete project in heaven for the earth, and we have to execute them ourselves. God's work depends on ourselves, knowing that in the end everything depends on God. This drives us to build a more human and more just world. Today we ask God to always and always do his will and not ours. Knowing that this implies certain renunciations or sufferings.
Every day I am more convinced that his will is always the best and what you most agree with us. Nothing more important than asking that HIS KINGDOM come to our lives, and that his will be done on earth.
