TRUST NOT IN THE VANITY OF THE WORLD

A certain woman entered into an evil society for wealth, power and protection. She got them but was unaware of the hidden clauses behind the deal. At the matured time, the first son who was about to be awarded a PhD in Economics died mysteriously. A year later, the second son who was rounding up his masters degree programme also died mysteriously. The third daughter who was about to Wed died too. That was when she was told that she had fulfilled the hidden clauses.

One wealthy man was so rich that he always hung the bunch of keys to his strong room on his finger anywhere he went so that nobody would enter there. But one day, he died and the bunch of keys fell from his hand. All the people around him could not help laughing.

A sister confessed that a man hired her services for a night, and in the process, she discovered that the man had lot of money in local and foreign currencies. In the middle of the night, she killed the man and took his car and money.

From the above life stories you can see that these people put their trust on the vanities of this world. My beloved, you should understand that riches are very good when acquired in a godly way but should not be worshipped.

For the love of money is the root of all evil. 1 Timothy 6:10.

It is God's desire for His children to prosper (Psalm 35:27.) In the midst of the prosperity, what matters most to God is your soul.

What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but loose his soul. (Mark 8:36)

Look at this fearful statement by Jesus:

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eyes of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Wealth go in vanity will diminish.

Beloved, it is good to be beautiful or handsome, but dont allow it to take God's place in your life. Don't allow your beauty to deceive and control you for beauty is vain. Many people are spending their time, money and energy to recreate themselves in the name of beauty, all these are vanities. It is very good to look lovely for God but many people are going extra miles to worship fashion. It is written that the fashion of this world would fade away.

What ever power you acquire without Christ is fake and vanity, acquisition of fetish charms are all vanity because it will never stand the test of time. You may be highly placed and respected but all that will end here on earth. Accept Jesus Christ for His reign grace and mercy lasts forever, what ever He gives to you lasts forever, so what are you waiting for. Accept Jesus Christ now.
