The concept of deliverance.
Obadiah 1:17
[17]But on Mount Zion [in Jerusalem] there shall be deliverance [for those who escape], and it shall be holy; and the house of Jacob shall possess its [own former] possessions.

In this book the Prophet is teaching the concept of deliverance. The word deliverance was first mentioned in the book of Genesis 45.The law of first Mentioned.It from a root word paw-lat, which means to escape or to save.The account of this word in Genesis Chapter 45 was a medium or method by which Joseph save his family on the earth when He was sold to the land of Egypt. Always the system or the method is controlled by a man. And in case of this JOSEPH was the man in charged.
Most Christian has misused the word " deliverance" for casting out devils. The meaning of the word escape is to get free. In Romans 5:12. The Bible teaches us that by the sin of one man the whole earth was in eternal condemnation. It also means the whole earth was in bondage. So for the world be save, there must be a mechanism by which God will use to save mankind .And that concept brought about deliverance.

In contest the deliverance used here mean to set free. For man be set from eternal condemnations, there must be a person to carried out the process that is salvation. Salvation was brought by a person called Jesus Christ. In The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; he has anointed me to tell the good news to the poor. He has sent me to announce release to the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to set oppressed people free.Luke 4:18. The word release is the same as to set free. This means to set someone free from bondage, deliverance must be preached.
We should not exchange deliverance for casting out devils. Deliverance deals with being preach the message of salvation which is Christ to mankind from eternal damnation into the kingdom of his dear son. Colossians 1
[13]He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son. This mechanism is called deliverance.
Glory be to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ for delivering us from the power to sin and death. By grace we have been set free from any entanglements of the devil and havr overcome the world. Praise be to the name of the Lord for counting us worthy. Thanks for sharing with us @entsie
