Steemchurch- Understanding Temptation and Triumphant Victory.
Temptation is common to all man. Even the very son of God, Jesus, was tempted by the devil. So you see, nobody is above temptation.
One may ask, what or who is the source of temptation.
The devil is the source of temptation.
When the devil was tossed down from his exalted position from heaven because he sought to be like God.

So he recruited people like him to rebel against God and was caat down. Now the devil and his followers( demons) are going around tempting people to make them align with him.
That will not be our portion in Jesus name. Amen!!
In James1:13 , it says "But each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed."
In that verse, we see that the devil does not work in a vacuum. But he uses a weakness in man to achieve his aim.
It takes the grace of God not to fall prey.
As believers, we are bound to face temptations in our lives. What matters is how we overcome such temptation.
In Galatians2:20 , it says " I have been crucified with christ. It us no longer i who live, but christ who lives in me."
We must first accept Jesus into our hearts and then allow him take charge of the situation.

James1:17 ,says "For every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights."
In that verse, it tell us that God does not bring temptations to us. But he provides us with the grace and enablement to overcome it.
Also we as believers need to study the word of God.

In the word of God, we will have what we need to overcome that temptation.
Even our Lord Jesus was tempted by the devil. So you see, no one is above temptations. But our prayer is that we overcome and have a triumphant victory.
I PRAY THAT GOD WILL GIVE US THE GRACE TO OVERCOME TEMPTATIONS AND HAVE TRIUMPHANT VICTORY. IN JESUS NAME. AMEN!!

With the assistance of God, one must train themself to avoid and overcome temptation. For me it is not a single prayer for strength in the face of temptation, but rather an ongoing lifestyle choice.

We are not above temptation, but we are capable of overcoming through prayers and bible study.

Even Jesus was tempted, we all should expect temptations too as his followers.
As christians we should learn to overcome temptations but we can't do this on our own. with the power of God we shall overcome
lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil oh lord!
