Steemchurch- Pleasing the Lord.

When a sinner repents and is forgiven,he or she is washed clean and converted to begin a new life in Christ. His aspirations, ambitions and ways of doing things are re-ordered and he contemplates on how to please God before anything else.

Revelations 4:11 says "Thou art worthy o Lord to receive glory, honor, and power. For thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

We as humans were created by God for his pleasure and to do his will.
We must be able to blend our faith which we professed and our practical lives. If one can do this, it then show our willingness to please God. Our Christianity is geared towards the service to God and he has given us the means of doing this in his word.

So it is very paramount that we study the word of God so we could be abressed with the means and ways of pleasing God. Our lives must be patterned to seek his pleasure. This is the only way that our lives will count now and here after.

What does it mean to please God?

Pleasing God entails doing things according to his will and following his doctrines the right way.
It begins with being reconciled to God by believing in his son Jesus Christ and putting our faith his finished work on the cross of Calvary. Pleasing the Lord means to live according to the purpose and will of God and becoming an agent of God's kingdom here on earth.

Also,if we must please God, we must learn to study and be governed by the word of God, we must live a life that is filled and governed by the spirit of God and the love love of God. It's not just to do them, but doing them consistently.

pleasing God shows the pivot of our relationship with God because it is the primary reason for our existence.

In pleasing God, faith and grace in important.

Faith is what projects us into our relationship with through his son. By this we enter into communion with God and become pleasing and acceptable unto him. While grace qualifies us to approach him to ask for forgiveness and hence pleasing him.

What are the benefits of pleasing God.

When we please the Lord, we receive peace that is beyond human comprehension. There is also divine joy and satisfaction which heeps us in faith. A believer that pleases God will always experience victories and fruitfulness and increase in all aspects of his or her life.

Most importantly, he or she will be rewarded with the crown of righteousness that will never fade away and also with eternal life.

So my brethrens, please let us learn to please God so that our lives with be fruitful and we shall on the last day get the crown of righteousness.
