Young, be brave, have courage, wait in the Lord
This phrase can hardly be applied when the difficulties are in all their splendor. Who says that it is easy to be brave when what is in front of you is very scary, or that it is easy to have courage when all the forecasts are discouraging, or even worse that it is easy to wait when what we want we need it already. It is difficult, I repeat, to put into practice the content of this sentence when everything is wrong. However, I think it is necessary to accept this word in our lives, understanding that courage, courage and waiting are produced by God.
I would like us to look closely at each of these elements.
What does it mean to be brave, have courage and wait ?:
Be brave: courage is the things in life that demand the most effort. We are constantly thrown into extreme situations that require us to make transcendental decisions. It is there where we fill ourselves with fear, where we allow fear to win us. It is also there where we must assume courage. Being brave implies having the ability to overcome fear, to break the glass bubble in which it encloses us. Every limiting situation brings with it the characteristic of immobilizing. It leaves us like statues. Being brave is having the ability to break the mold of plaster in which fear keeps us stuck.
Have courage: You have to understand that all is not lost. Having courage involves looking at other possibilities outside of the one we have welcomed. Many times in the midst of difficulties we choose to throw in the towel, especially when the outlook is not very encouraging. There are times when everything seems lost, and yes, finding other possibilities and makes impossible how to have courage there? I think it is necessary to look back and grasp all that God has done for us. When we are able to look in the rearview mirror of life we will understand that always, no matter how lost everything seems, there will be possibilities to get ahead.
Wait: this is perhaps the most expensive. How to wait when we need what we need? It is difficult to sit down to see how all the difficulty we experience happens. It's hard to wait until things calm down. However, this can not be a reason to give up on our struggle. I know it's hard to wait, that one despairs, but this does not make it unnecessary. You have to know how to wait, you have to understand that there will be hard times in which we will have to confront peacefully the difficulties that come. All this trusting that God accompanies us in our struggle.
If we can take our problems from these three keys, we can fight with more desire. We will understand then that our struggle is necessary for us to grow, and we will be able to identify that in each of these struggles, our God fights together with us.
"Flee also from the youthful passions, and follow justice, faith, love and peace, with those who from a pure heart call on the Lord." 2 Timothy 2:22
"I have spoken to you in your prosperity, but you said: I will not listen. This was your way from your youth, that you never heard my voice " Jeremiah 22:21
"I will never again curse the earth because of man; for the intent of man's heart is evil from his youth ... " Genesis 8:21
"Likewise, young people, be subject to the elders; and all of you, submissive to one another, clothe yourselves with humility; because: God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble. " 1 Peter 5: 5
very inspiring publication, we must certainly break the mold and get ahead, and have the courage to be original and enterprising in everything we do.
