WATCH YOUR WORDS
For by the words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Matthew 12:37
Words are so important in the Kingdom of God and should be used carefully. Your true image is revealed in your words ... as a man thinketh in his heart, so he is... Proverb 23:7
What you think is what you say, ...for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Luke 6:45
Even when you think you're joking, what you say could make or mar your destiny. Never take the risk to joke against the Word.
Jesus knew the power of Words that was why he was careful of things he said. Take a look at the fig tree for example. And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.Mark 11:13-14
Jesus was coming from the synagogue one day was very hungry, so he saw a fig tree afar off hoping it will have fruit because it was its season, and when he got there he found no fruit. And Jesus said...Mark 11:14, and it was recorded that the disciples heard it.
And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:20-23
Jesus without a doubt knew the power of his Words and knew the tree would dry up but the disciples saw it the next day and noticed the tree had died. Jesus here was teaching the disciples the power of Words. You can move mountains with Words, just have faith. ......and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:23 Your Words represent you; they mean everything. Don't speak carelessly and say "I didn't mean it!". Speak truth. The bible says Proverbs 15:28 The godly think before speaking; the wicked spout evil words.

He used words to raise the dead,John 11:43 Then Jesus shouted, " Lazarus, come out! " John 11:44 And Lazarus came out, bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, " Unwrap him and let him go! "
For by your Words, you shall be justified, and by your words, you shall be condemned.
You can't endanger your salvation based on the words that you say. On the contrary, your words indicate where your heart is. I found this Bible commentary:

Jesus wasn't a master of words. Jesus had the power to heal. Jesus could heal without words. Nobody has been able to do that since the first century apostles died.
