There are difficulties, are we alone? I will answer this question immediately: we are never alone even in the worst moments because Christ offers us comfort, Jesus Christ understands us.

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in every way tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 4:14-15

When someone close to us, like our best friend or a family member, seems to be a disaster in their life, the most common and natural thing is that we approach them to offer comfort, but even so, sometimes we have said something that was not appropriate since, despite our intention to comfort the person, the expression can cause more pain. A clear example is when we say "I understand you" generally if we are not living that same situation, it usually sounds empty and meaningless.
But in life we all want to be understood in our situations and this helps us understand those people who have suffered or seem to have suffered similar situations to the one we have experienced.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

This previous passage gives us comfort because it shows us and assures us that Christ has lived and experienced situations perhaps like ours or worse, it shows us that Jesus Christ truly understands us.
The apostle Paul refers to Our Lord Jesus Christ as the intercessor, the one who knows all our weaknesses and our struggles, Jesus Christ as the high priest before God. Let us remember that we are priests who offered a sacrifice of redemption for his house and for the whole nation, that is to say: he interceded for the sins of all the people. In this case, our Lord Jesus Christ not only offered a sacrifice to redeem us, but he became that sacrifice by dying on the cross. Jesus Christ died in our place, enduring all the suffering and calamity that was destined for us. He suffered it for us and right now he is sitting at the right hand of God appealing and interceding for us before God.
Even though Christ was 100% human and 100% God, he also faced the same situations as us, suffered the same sufferings as us, the same needs and pains, we can be 100% sure that Jesus Christ truly understands us and that is why he is at our side at all times, holding us up and placing his hand on our back telling us: "Don't worry, I am here with you and I will help you in everything." Do you believe it?
