We are constantly growing, day by day we grow in a closer relationship with our father, our faith increases, as does our trust and this leads us to ask differently.

Words of Nehemiah son of Hachaliah. It happened in the month of Chislev, in the twentieth year, while I was in Susa the capital of the kingdom, 2 that Hanani, one of my brothers, came with some men of Judah, and I asked them about the Jews who had escaped, who were left from the captivity, and about Jerusalem. 3 And they said to me: The remnant, those who are left from the captivity, there in the province, are in great trouble and disgrace, and the wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.
4 When I heard these words, I sat down and wept, and mourned for some days, and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven. 5 Then I said, “I pray you, O LORD God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and loving-kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments; 6 let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer of your servant, which I pray before you now day and night for the children of Israel your servants; and I confess the sins of the children of Israel which we have committed against you; yes, I and my father's house have sinned. 7 We have acted exceedingly corruptly against you, and have not kept the commandments, statutes, and judgments that you commanded your servant Moses. 8 Remember, I pray, the word that you gave to your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you sin, I will scatter you among the nations; 9 But if you return to Me and keep My commandments and do them, though you be scattered to the ends of the heavens, I will gather you from there and bring you to the place I have chosen to make My name dwell there. 10 These are Your servants and Your people, whom You have redeemed by Your great power and by Your mighty hand. 11 Now, O LORD, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to revere Your name. Please grant Your servant success and give him favor in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer.

Nehemiah 1.1-11

In this picture Nehemiah is a clear example of the power that exists in prayer directed to God, let us remember that he was the servant of the King of Persia and this did not give him the right to ask for permission, in this case for the reconstruction of the walls there in Jerusalem, much less to ask for help and request materials. But Nehemiah prayed to God whom he knew and consequently acted with courage.
Nehemiah began his prayer recognizing the magnificence of God, he prayed to God with the full certainty and security that God fulfills his promises and does so even in ways we do not imagine, Nehemiah said the following: "I pray to you, O Lord, God of heaven, strong, great and awesome, who keeps the covenant and mercy to those who love him and keep his commandments." This teaches us that Nehemiah knew God and was confident that God fulfills his promises.
We know "By the word of God" That God is omnipotent, creator of heaven and earth, Nehemiah was totally sure that God would fulfill all that he had promised, in the same way it is with us today, through the word of God we know God and he does everything by and for us, his children, we must trust.
God has made it very clear in the Bible who he is, what he did and what he will do, we can get to know God a little more every day and this increases our faith and trust in the Creator God, in this way in each prayer we will present ourselves with total confidence and security, in need, in confusion we have clarity and confidence in God, let us remember that the way we contemplate God is the way we will address him.
